Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Zadak apps and zadak.io ("the Service"), operated by Zadak, Amman, Jordan ("Zadak", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Zadak as a distributor, the distributor section also applies to you.

1. What Zadak is

Zadak is a marketplace. Customers post orders for household essentials (currently LPG gas cylinders and dairy products); independent, licensed distributors accept and deliver them and are paid by the customer on delivery. Zadak is not the seller of the goods and does not employ distributors. The contract of sale is between you and the distributor.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 to use Zadak as a customer and at least 18 to register as a distributor. You sign in with your mobile number; keep your phone secure, since anyone with it can access your account. One person, one account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Orders and payment

Prices shown are indicative ranges based on distributors' listed prices; the price you pay is the one confirmed by the distributor who accepts your order, before delivery. Payment is made directly to the distributor on delivery (cash or any method the distributor accepts). Zadak does not process customer payments and does not charge customers a fee.

Cancel an order before it is accepted at no cost. Repeated no-shows (not being available at the delivery address after an order is accepted) may lead to temporary restrictions on your account, as described in the app.

4. Distributors

Distributors must hold and keep valid the licences required in Jordan for their products (e.g. commercial registration, municipal business licence, an EMRC LPG distribution permit or JFDA food licence, vehicle registration) and upload them for verification. Zadak may approve, suspend or remove distributor accounts at its discretion, including for missed deliveries, safety complaints or expired documents.

Launch offer. During the launch period announced in the app, Zadak charges distributors no subscription and no per-delivery fees. Any future fees will be published in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and no fee will apply to orders completed before that date.

Distributors are independent businesses responsible for the goods they deliver, their pricing, safety (including LPG handling regulations), taxes and insurance. While "on shift" the distributor app shares the truck's position with customers; this stops when the shift ends.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no fraudulent orders, harassment of customers or distributors, false documents, scraping, or interference with the app's operation. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Liability

Zadak provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by Jordanian law, Zadak is not liable for the quality, safety or delivery of goods, for a distributor's or customer's conduct, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes are subject to the courts of Amman.
